Breakfasts at Southville … Fine Quality Local Produce
When we moved into Southville it was our aim to use the highest quality local produce wherever possible. Dorset is a county with a long farming tradition, and we thought it was important to use products that are made in the county, to support local suppliers.
Our breakfasts are often commented on by our guests for the choice we provide, and how delicious the cooked breakfasts are. We had some regular guests who looked foward to our breakfasts so much that when they arrived they hoped they could have breakfast straight away at 5pm!
We like to give our guests plenty of choice and all of our breakfasts are freshly prepared to order. If there is something else our guests would like for breakfast we will try our best to provide it if we are given enough notice. We once made Mexican style breakfast scrambled eggs on request!
Here is our current breakfast menu:
Cafetiere of Coffee or Decaffinated Coffee, or Instant Coffee
A selection of Teas; including English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey, Green Tea, Camomile Tea, Lemon Tea, Peppermint Tea, Chai Tea and Decaffinated Tea
Hot Chocolate
Fresh Fruit
Yoghurts
Fruit Juices
A selection of more than 15 different Cereals, including museli from Dorset Cereals, with milk from Craig’s Farm Dairy at Osmington.
A Full English Cooked Breakfast:
comprising of Hash Brown, Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Beans, Fresh or Tinned Tomato and Mushrooms
Or a Vegetarian Breakfast:
comprising of Hash Brown, 2 Vegetarian Sausages, Egg, Beans, Fresh or Tinned Tomato and Mushrooms
Or something smaller such as;
Scrambled Egg on Toast,
Poached Eggs on Toast,
Bacon and Eggs,
French Toast
Brown and/or White Toast with Butter and Margarine
Croissants warmed in the oven
with a variety of Jams, Marmalade, Honey and Marmite spreads
Specialist diets such as Vegan or Gluten Free can be specially catered for with advanced notification.
